Electromagnetic Flow MeterThis type of flow meter measures flow by applying Faraday's Law of
Induction. Heavy suspensions,
including mud, sewage, and wood pulp, can be measured with this type of meter. Electromagnetic
flow meter has a magnetic field-generating coil inside and electrode that
captures electromotive force (voltage). There are no moving parts, which ensure
reliability of the meter. The electromagnetic flow meter can, therefore,
measure flow even though there appears to be nothing inside the flow pipe. It's
independent of liquid temperature, pressure, density, or viscosity. It is
capable of detecting contaminants in liquids (solids, air bubbles). Pressure is
not lost during the operation. |
